Hello!
My name is Mrs. Kerr and I am the head of Art & Design at St. Jude's Academy. I hold an Honours Bachelor Degree in English and Visual Arts from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University.
My interests include: travel, 19th century literature, rugby, ice hockey, bluegrass music, mixed media art & art history.
This weeks theme is TROLLS! The first two days of the week students practiced their use of scissor skills by following dotted lines (straight, curved, zig-zag etc.) to give trolls new haircuts. The second two days of the week students were given troll face templates to then create crazy hair drawings.
Students were introduced to Symmetry. The first two days focused on tracing and discussion what symmetry is. The next two days students applied their new skills to create Symmetry Bugs.
